State Exam (defense) policy

Abstract

The final defense takes place in front of the State Examination Committee. The composition of the State Examination Committee should be agreed by the department. Before the final defense the secretary of the State Examination Committee submits the copies of the bachelor thesis as well as all other related documents to the head of the State Examination Committee. After that the student takes the floor for the presentation of his/her bachelor thesis. The presentation should last no more than 15 minutes. The usual time allotted for the defense is about 25-30 minutes.
