Abstract: | The course is divided into three main parts. In the first section of the course, it will be discussed the history of European integration, from the federalist vision of the founding fathers of the European Union to the intergovernmentalism realism of political sceptics. This part of the course provides the theoretical, historical and analytical foundation to the students. The second part of the course will pay attention on the external relations and the last part of the course addresses current issues and debates in the European Union. |
