This study is focused on subjective experience of body image change in particular two ways: women who undergo the double eye-lid surgery and women who start veiling. The research covers the questions such as; what are the subjective experiences of changing body image for women who started veiling and for those who went through the surgery? What are the possible motivations which draw them to such decisions? What are they in search for? How body images change effect people’s life? Findings showed that these two groups which initially seem to be opposite to each other, both of them have similar tendencies in case of motivation and consequences but in their own expressions.en_US
