dc.description.abstractKazakhstan is a country that pursues its foreign policy goals by gaining recognition of the international community and maintaining their sovereignty after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Sovereign Kazakhstan developed a strategic plan for presenting the country’s national interest on the international arena. The focus of this paper is to explore the influence of foreign policy behavior on the nation building process in Kazakhstan through the analysis of decision making process aimed at improving the image of the country on the international arena.-
